RVSM Dual DADC Configuration

June 19, 2001- Aircraft Systems and Manufacturing was awarded a Supplemental Type Certificate ST09887SC for the installation of a complete integration package (ASM P/N K5582-0000-00) for a Innovative Solutions & Support RVSM compliant dual digital air data system (dual DADC configuration) on a Boeing 727-200 aircraft. The system meets the RVSM accuracy requirements outlined in the FAA regulations. The certification took place in Delaware at the Decrane Aviation facility.

The K5582-0000-XX kit is designed for aircraft equipped with two existing air data computers. If the aircraft has Captain’s and First Officer’s pitot/static system that has interface capabilities at the E-3 electronic shelves, this kit can also be installed in aircraft equipped with a single air data computer.

October 17, 2001- Aircraft Systems and Manufacturing was awarded a Supplemental Type Certificate ST09957SC for the installation of a complete integration package (ASM P/N K5586-0000-00) for a Innovative Solutions & Support RVSM compliant dual digital air data system (single DADC configuration) on a Boeing 727-100 aircraft. The system meets the RVSM accuracy requirements outlined in the FAA regulations. The certification took place in San Antonio at the Dee Howard facility.

The K5586-0000-XX kit is designed for aircraft equipped with one existing air data computer, however, it can also be installed in aircraft with a dual ADC configuration.
