System Description
The TAWS computer is installed in the aft radio rack. New wire harnesses provide interface with the FMS, DADC, Radio Altimeter and ILS Receiver. Existing GPWS wiring is used to simplify the installation process. Control of the system as well as Warnings and Alerts are provided via system annunciators.

System Description
The TAWS system provides situational awareness relative to current and predicted airplane position as well as advanced ground proximity warning system. The system provides alert information to the flight crew both visual and aural.
